About Regulators

What is Regulators?

Regulators is a casual progression guild for Elune Horde.

We're social. We love food, spirits, and all the finer things in life. The game is an excuse to get together and goof off. But don't let that fool you: we're also rude, crude, and we aim to misbehave.

Isn't Elune Horde-side pretty dead right now?

That's what they say. Playing Alliance would certainly be easier, if that's the kind of thing you're into.

What do you mean by "casual"?

We are not hardcore. World of Warcraft is not a part-time job. Many of us are working professionals with families, and we expect the game to work around our real-life commitments, not the other way around.

For this reason, we have set times for raiding: twice a week, two hours a stretch (for mains).

If you're so casual, why do you call yourself a "progression" guild?

"Casual" does not mean we want to run with bad players, or that we don't care about success. We expect everyone to bring their A-game to raid night. If you aren't pulling your weight, we may need to discuss how you can improve, or ask that you give up your spot in the raid.

Our goal is to do better every week and complete all available raid content.

Will you hurt my feelings?

Probably. We will certainly make endless mockery of you. Also, if we can, we will find the one thing that embarasses you, and we will parade it around for everyone to see.

If you can't take a joke, or if you have thin-skin, this is not the guild for you. We're sarcastic, and sometimes offensive. Suck it up, Buttercup.

That being said: there's being playful, and there's being douchebag. Don't be the latter.

Hey, I just need a place to crash until my friends switch servers and form a guild.

We'll take you, but there is a 10,000 gold non-refundable deposit due before you get an invite. That's not for everyone, just for you.

What are the requirements for joining?

You must be 18 years of age to join Regulators. No exceptions. No, we don't care how "mature" you are. We don't care if it's two months until your birthday. If there are minors around, we can't be ourselves, and that would just ruin everything.

Besides, if you're not 18 yet, you should be playing Alliance, anyway.

Is there a level requirement?

No, but you'll probably have more interaction if you are at least levelling through the latest expansion content.

So when do you raid?

This is still developing as people level and gear up in MoP. We plan on raiding Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8-10 EST, with alternate raiding times for those who can't make it on the regular nights, or for alts.

We are a fun loving, dirty minded, ultimately freaky, social raiding guild on Elune. We appreciate the finer things in life, good food, good booze and good friends. Despite our dirty minds, we are a mature guild, and do manage to to get things done. We are not all about raiding. We understand people have lives and families in the "real world" to deal with. We are progressing quite quickly up the wowjutsu ranks. The guild itself has only been around a little over a month, and we are already in the top 20 ranked horde guilds on the server. Is this guild for you?: The type of people we are looking for is pretty wide open. We want people who are fun, responsible and able to get along with people easily. We are willing to give almost anyone a chance. However, if you blow it, you blow it. We can't help you with that. Patience is a must. We might not get things on the first try, but eventually we will learn. We have dirty minds, mouths, and actions. You must be able to go with the flow and have a strong stomach. People we do not want:Loot whores, people who can't take a joke, people who takes jokes to far, disrespectful people, anyone with gang ties that will threaten others, people who think its all about them, people who get upset about loot, (if you lose a roll, don't pout, move on and be happy a fellow guildy got something they can use), Loud and obnoxious, very young players. (we do not discriminate against age, however a lot of our conversations are not for young ears.) Rules (yes even people like US have rules) 1. Be respectful 2. Go to an officer if you have a problem with something/someone 3. Behave yourself on vent. We do not want screaming, yelling, random noises, or "pop in's" during raids 4. Don't take yourself to seriously 5. Understand that you are dealing with different people, the way things come across might not be how they meant it. 6. All loot is up for review by regulators officers. 7. If you sign up for a raid, and you are not there on time. You might lose your spot. If you decline/ignore the invite, you could also not have a spot in the raid.
